Anil Daryani, CFA is Senior Vice President and Sr. Investment Counsellor for HSBC Private Banking in San Francisco, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies in business administration (B.S.) and economics (B.A.) from UC Berkeley. He is a CFA Charterholder and actively involved with the CFA Society of San Francisco. Anil’s personal interests include the intersection of public and economic policy and environmental impact. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and traveling.
Sunny Jha, MD, MS is an anesthesiologist at the University of Southern California. He was heavily involved with the Suitcase Clinic during his time as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley and eventually served as the General Clinic Coordinator. He has significant leadership experience in organized medicine, health policy and international medicine. He also serves on the Board for many healthcare based organizations.
Petrice Kam, MS, RN, GNP-BC, WCC is a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner experienced in transitional critical care as an RN, as well as, in clinical, hospital, and nursing home settings. She earned a bachelor's in the Social Science Field Major at UC Berkeley and a master's at UC San Francisco in the Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and the Master’s Entry Professional Nursing programs. Petrice volunteered at the Suitcase Clinic as a clinic assistant, receptionist, and caseworker during the first few years of the clinic. She is also accomplished as a Third-degree blackbelt in Wadokai karate. She enjoys working with diverse populations, but specialize in older adult care.
Cate Lewis, MSW, MPH is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in supporting children and families impacted by violence. Earning her bachelor's degree and two master's degrees from UC Berkeley, Cate's interest in social welfare started with her undergraduate volunteer experience at the Suitcase Clinic. In addition to direct practice, Cate has also worked to inform healthcare policy by evaluating the effectiveness of health promotion programs.
Jonathan McKinsey, MS is a Team Lead at Ultimate Software. He earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a master's degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. In his masters program, he studied the intersection of Computer Science and Education specializing in massive open online courses. He loves to teach others about technology ranging from digital literacy with senior citizens to programming with underrepresented minorities. He is especially interested in topics that affect disadvantaged populations. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking for his family.
Robert Shitamoto, MPA, CSM is a Web Developer, Scrum Master, and Technical Project Manager. He earned his bachelor's degree in genetics from UC Berkeley and a master's degree in public administration from CSU Hayward (now East Bay). He is one of the student co-founders of the Suitcase Clinic in 1990 as the project expanded out from medical students in the Joint Medical Program. Originally working for non-profits and government his concerns continue to be the health and well being of the community especially people living in the conditions of poverty and/or homelessness.
